RooFix was founded on the principles of sustainability and sustainable roofing. The longer we can keep roof assemblies in good and serviceable condition, the longer we can keep them out of the landfill.
The commonly accepted definition of sustainable roofing is “ … a roof that is designed, constructed, maintained, rehabilitated, and demolished with an emphasis throughout its life cycle on using natural resources efficiently and preserving the global environment.”
A structure that requires only 3 roof replacements over its life cycle in lieu of 4 or 5 will ultimately have a lower carbon foot print, and a lower cost of ownership than a structure with poorly maintained roofing.
Being proactive in managing your roof assembly translates into expanded options for replacement and reduced material usage.
At RooFix we believe professionally planning and budgeting for maintenance cycles, repairs, and roof replacements, is the most cost effective way to manage your assets, reduce operating costs long term, and ultimately help the environment.
Let’s all do our part!
